India's National Centre for Disease Control has launched a new system empowering citizens to report unusual health events via a QR code. This initiative aims to transform ordinary individuals into early disease sentinels, enabling faster intervention and prevention of large-scale outbreaks by flagging clusters of fevers, diarrhoea, and other symptoms.
