Gurtej Sandhu, an Indian-origin technologist raised in Amritsar, has built a distinguished career in semiconductor research and leadership. An MTech graduate of IIT Delhi and PhD holder from the University of North Carolina, he serves as Principal Fellow and Vice President at Micron Technology in the US. With 2,211 global patents, surpassing Thomas Edison, Sandhu’s work in CMOS process technology underpins modern DRAM and NAND memory used in smartphones and cloud infrastructure.
